Pimienta: 'Securing victory against Villarreal requires having personality and competing in the match.'

The yellow coach spoke in the pre-match press conference before facing Villarreal CF and stated, 'If anything has brought us here, it's that we are aware of who we are and how we need to work.'

García Pimienta described Villarreal as a team 'different from the first round, with a more experienced coach. Every coach tries to showcase their style, and they are still under construction. They have incredible players, and everything comes down to having personality and competing in the match.' 'If we perform at our level, we will have our chances,' he added.

Here are some of his statements:

'The suspension of Julián seems excessive for what he did; the red card was fair, the boy made a mistake, but it's not for a four-match ban. We hope the resolution comes out today; we have solutions for that position.'

'After a game where things don't go well, you look forward to the next one to try to change the dynamics. The team is more than motivated to achieve victory. If anything has brought us here, it's that we are aware of who we are.'

'We have to be aware that matches don't last 50 or 60 minutes. The day against Cádiz was different; they were losing. It's not a matter of physical decline; that's what the GPS data tells us. We are a team that wants to have the ball always.'

'Fabio is already doing all tasks at 100%. If next week he doesn't have any problems, I would like him to have the spot. He has been without competing for a long time, and it will be challenging, but I hope that in about two weeks, he will be in the team's dynamics.'

'The team is having an immaculate season; we lacked matching the intensity of Tenerife. It has been a tough week, I understand the disappointment of the fans.'
