García Pimienta appeared in the press room at the Sports City on the eve of the match between UD Las Palmas and Deportivo Alavés. He started by saying, "I can only thank the treatment we've received since I arrived on the island, it would be fantastic to achieve the goal for our people, they deserve it. They have always been cheering for the team, both inside and outside Gran Canaria."

Regarding the opponent, Deportivo Alavés, he highlighted that "we have a great advantage as we're playing at home, and if we win, we're in the top league. The downside is that we're facing Alavés, their goal is the same, and they have a large budget. We know the difficulty of the match, it will be demanding, to say the least. The match has to be the way we want it to be. They have players with a high level of ball control, so we have to stick to our style of play. We need to stay focused to minimize their chances," he added.

 Some of the statements were:

"The objective for all of us here is clear, to achieve promotion. Together with Richi, we've tried to approach the match as normally as possible."

"We have everyone in good shape except for Sidnei and Vitolo, and the entire squad is going to be focused, except for Vitolo due to his circumstances. It's important that      we're all together."

"I dream and fight every day to play these kinds of matches. I'm very happy and excited, hopefully, we can celebrate the promotion."

"The renewal of Kirian is the biggest success of this season, he's been giving us a lot, and he truly deserves it."
