Pepe Mel assessed his side’s performance in tonight’s draw against Granada, stating “the team were really serious out there today. We broke up Granada’s style and I have congratulated my boys because they have given their all until the last minute”, and he believed his side “were better than they were”.
”We need to pick up three points at a time” stated the yellows’ manager, as he recognised that “this draw is a failure but I understand the position and the demands of our rivals”.
Mel called on the fans from the press room at the Estadio Los Cármenes, saying “this point will be a point gained if we manage to beat Elche”.
