Paco Jémez: “I ask my players to give their maximum effort and to be dignified”

Jémez knows how difficult it is to play out the last three games with his team already down, and stated “I ask my players to give their maximum effort and be thoroughly professional”.

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

Paco Jémez wants the last three games to be played with real professionalism and so end the season the best way possible, while he was not giving anything away regarding his future. “Until the season is completely over I won’t be saying anything, some other teams have been in touch, I am thinking of either not training or staying on here. I am not interested in anyone right now, I want to speak as I feel”.

“Getafe are without a lot of players, but they are still a tough opponent, they have had a good season and they also want to finish on a high note. It will be a tough game” the trainer said of tomorrow’s rivals.

”Érik has been called up because he is in good shape. He is staying with us because we may need him”, he said, while revealing that Pedro Bigas has received the ok by doctors, “although we don’t want to push him right now. Calleri is frustrated with himself because things haven’t worked out for him, and this just shows how professional he is”, referring to how he didn’t celebrate his last goal against Espanyol.

Paco Jémez is considering playing David García so he can go down in the club’s history for the most official official appearances in the team. “David García has played a huge number of games and it would be great for him to break the record. But I do have to prioritize team selection in keeping with our requirements” he concluded at the press room at El Hornillo.
