Ximo Navarro (born Granada, 23rd January 1990) will be joining Deportivo Alavés following his move from UD Las Palmas to the Basque side.  The defender came to the island at the start of last season from Almería, on a three-year deal. He played a total of 33 games for the islanders, in both the league and the Spanish Cup.

Navarro began his career in the youth set up at Real Mallorca. After two seasons out on loan to Recreativo de Huelva and to Córdoba, he returned to Real Mallorca, where he played alongside Pedro Bigas. He made his debut in the first team under the then Danish manager Michael Laudrup. He played for two seasons there before being transferred to Almería, where he stayed for three seasons.

UD Las Palmas would like to thank Ximo Navarro for his professionalism and dedication, and wish the best of luck, both in personal and professional terms, at his new club.
