UD Las Palmas player Manu Fuster appeared before the media in the press room of the Sports City before the visit to AD Ceuta FC. Fuster emphasized that the team faces "a very difficult match and stability will be key. We know it's a field that gets very involved, and they spend a lot of time near your area; we will try to minimize that as much as possible."

These were some of his statements:

"I think if we knew 100% what is going wrong, we would fix it on the spot. I know I can give more and help the team in another way. A year and a half ago, perhaps my level in the Second Division was higher, but every day I feel closer to giving my best version."

"Regarding the match the other day, I think we lost two points in the first half-hour. We were being superior but failed to take advantage of the chances."

"We understand the demands and that the goal is what it is; we accept the criticism. We have cut one point from direct promotion, and we want to stay right behind them."

"I think I can give little advice to Jaime Mata; he’s a spectacular guy who has experienced all kinds of situations in football. He is very important to us on a daily basis. Marc also showed here in the first promotion that he is a player with great quality and is on the right path. Adam Arvelo is a young guy and eager to contribute; when he gets minutes, he will move forward."

"We expect a match where they demand the maximum from you and push you to the limit. They send in a lot of crosses, and they have a forward who is scoring many goals. There's also Abou, who came from here."
