Luis García: "We must look at ourselves and keep improving, there are seven games ahead."

The yellow coach stated after the defeat at La Rosaleda that it's time to "look ahead, today we weren't as sharp as we would have liked."

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

Luis García indicated at the end of the match against Málaga that "the feeling today is bad, it is true that the first half was quite even, we lacked finding that final pass to hurt the opponent. In the second half, the goal hurt us and they were better. We have to accept it as it is, look ahead, today we were not as sharp as we would have liked."

These were some of his statements:

"Many times it is not easy to come in from the outside and change the game when it is already underway. The players have tried to do what they could, and sometimes it is not easy."

"When the game is so even, set-piece situations are very important. We also cannot ignore that clash between Miyashiro and the goalkeeper, it was a somewhat doubtful situation. In the second half, they were better, and that's why they won the game."

"It is clear that Taisei touches the ball, it seems to me like a clear penalty, but we should not make excuses. We must look at ourselves and keep improving, there are seven games ahead, everything is open, so we keep moving forward."

"The support from the fans is priceless, we have to be very grateful to our people. One of the reasons we are very sad is because of them, we leave hurt but I encourage them to stay with us on the same boat. We can only be grateful and keep working for them because giving them joy is the most beautiful thing there is."

"Everything will be important from here to the end, many things will happen. The most important thing is to stay balanced, think about the next game, and not make any calculations, keep improving and know that we can be better because we have shown it."

"There is time for everything. I am very positive, everyone likes to focus on the negative, and I am the opposite. It is useless to look back, sports and life are about moving forward. Seven games, let's go for the next one."
