Luis García: "We have done a lot to win the match"

Our coach stated that "We lacked a bit of calmness with the ball in the first line. It's something we will continue working on and improving."

Luis García addressed the media gathered in the press room of the Estadio Gran Canaria after the match against FC Andorra. "In the second half, we lacked the courage to overcome something we hadn't achieved yet. We have a young group, and I take away the tremendous effort of the players," he stated.

Some of his statements:

"We don't have information about Iván Gil yet; he needs to undergo tests. In these early matches, the games are long. We already made the substitution of Marvin due to some minor discomfort, and Valentín came in, who received two yellow cards, which we know will help him improve and learn things."

"Valentín is an excellent footballer. We need to take care of our people; he will be an extraordinary player. He is eager to help and learn, and today's lesson will benefit him."

"I believe that in today's football, the players who start the game are just as important as those who come in later."

"Ale García doesn't surprise me because I see him train every day. I'm very happy for him; he played a great match, and hopefully, this will be the start of a great season."

"Andorra didn't surprise me; it's a team with good players and a solid approach. They will be very competitive in the category, but I think we were superior today."
