Kirian Rodríguez returned to the field last Sunday in a match where UD Las Palmas managed to secure a victory against Cádiz CF. Regarding his return, the yellow player highlighted that "I have been very calm, with family and friends. Very happy to be back." "I missed the game continuing. It was a moment where perhaps we decided to protect the result, but I wanted it to last a little longer. That moment of celebrating the victory with my teammates was undoubtedly what I enjoyed the most," he added.

These were some of his statements:
"Granada has entered a good dynamic, they transition well. I think it’s going to be a very tough match, the stadium will want to put pressure on us, and we have to try to be dominant in the game."

"I love the coach, he communicates a lot with me. I’m having so much fun in training. What he wants from me is my true self; he doesn’t ask for anything other than the Kirian we’ve always seen."

"I always say there’s a Kirian off the field and another on it. I was very focused, but it’s true that later I watched videos at home, and I had my parents right in the stands, and they were in tears. I’m more than grateful for the love I’ve received, not just on Sunday, but throughout the entire time leading up to this moment."

"The competition is very tough; maybe we’re missing that bit of patience. As the weeks go by, in October or November, you usually see that spark in the players who are more decisive. I think the other day was a great match; transitions were created in very tight spaces against a team like Cádiz."

"On Saturday, I received a call from Luis de la Fuente, and it surprised me. I didn’t expect it at all, and I’m grateful for the gesture. I felt personal joy from him knowing that I was called up."

"Jaime Mata isn’t having things go his way in the matches. He trains and competes in every training session as if he were a starter and pushes himself to the maximum. For me, he’s a very important person, and when the match ended, we spent two hours in the locker room talking about football and life. These are the kinds of people you need in the locker room, and I hope those good moments start coming his way because he undoubtedly deserves it."

"Jonathan Viera is like an older brother. Both he and Deivid welcomed Benito and me when we joined the first team. They supported us and treated us like family. Jonathan is a captain we really need."
