Jesé rescues a point in Anduva with a great goal (1-1)

UD Las Palmas scraped a draw (1-1) in their visit to CD Mirandés, at a venue where they have not managed to secure a victory in official matches. The yellows repeated many aspects of their previous game but found themselves trailing in the second half. However, in the 90th minute, Jesé Rodríguez scored a great goal that salvaged at least one of the points at stake.

In the initial photo of the match at Anduva, the novelty was the Japanese player Taisei Miyashiro, making his first start with UD Las Palmas since his arrival in the winter transfer market. The Japanese player made his presence felt in the match from the very beginning, and after a high attempt by Loiodice, his first shot went just wide of the post in the 13th minute of the game.

Las Palmas approached the match against Mirandés with the firm idea of imposing their style of play, as they had done against Burgos a week earlier. The match unfolded as expected, with an opponent that appeared dangerous in direct actions towards the area. In two corners, Dinko Horkas had to intervene to clear the most dangerous balls that reached his domain in the first half.

Undoubtedly, the move that came closest to a goal in the first half was by Jesé Rodríguez in the 32nd minute. The Gran Canarian attacker moved to the right wing to make a vertical run and deliver a very dangerous cross into the area. But Manu Fuster, who struck it on the run, sent the ball over Mirandés' crossbar.

Las Palmas created other opportunities in an attempt to score the 0-1, but those plays lacked the final touch, the finish, against a crowded local defense that also worked hard to prevent it.

Mirandés took the lead in the second half with an excellent goal by Bauzá in the 56th minute. Although the danger had been scarce, the local team capitalized on their chances, forcing the yellows to play against the clock and the tide for the rest of the match.

Las Palmas threw themselves into the search for an equalizer, with several missed opportunities until Jesé delivered a great shot from outside the area that goalkeeper Palomares could not reach.

The visitors still had one last chance, with an acrobatic shot by Iker Bravo that missed the goal by just a few centimeters.
