Iván Gil appeared at a press conference before the visit to the Estadio El Alcoraz, this Friday at 7:30 PM (local time). The yellow team player stated that against Huesca "we are expecting a match, like all in this category, to be very tough. We will have to give our best version if we want to get something positive because they will demand it from us."

These were some of his statements:

"I don't think it's a vertigo situation; the whole team is aware of the situation we are in. We have to take it game by game. We are being a solid team; it's important not to concede and to always achieve good results."

"It's clear that in the end, it's our cheering section; the more of us there are in the stadium and the more people can join, the better. It's what gives us wings to achieve good results at home."

"I think the coach, since he arrived, has made a good impression, not only because of how he helps but also because of the style of play, which suits Las Palmas very well. From there, he has conveyed the idea of knowing how to defend without the ball and maintaining that pressure after losing it."

"We know that nowadays it's much easier to study opponents, just as they do with us. I hope the next goal comes sooner rather than later and helps us stay at the top."

"I don't like holding grudges against anyone; every coach has their way of seeing football. Maybe last year I didn't fit into the coach's plan, but I'm grateful because that situation made me mentally stronger."

"We have to see the approach they take against us, whether they will be more defensive or come to press us. We need to stay calm; everything comes as the match progresses."

"We have to be ourselves, take it game by game, and stay calm. Winning at El Alcoraz is very difficult, but everything that hasn't been achieved yet is a good moment to achieve it."
