UD Las Palmas is putting the finishing touches on their Copa del Rey debut. Coach Garcia Pimienta addressed the media before the match against CD Teruel, assuring them that "The cup is really important; when a player puts on the UD jersey, he must go out and win. It will be difficult, but we shall tackle it with the utmost confidence ".

The coach stated that the team's leaves for the encounter are as follows: "Marc Cardona, Vitolo, Benito, and Andone are still recovering, and they are the ones who will most likely not return. This week, we have a lot of boys from the Accademy training with us, and if nothing unusual happens tomorrow, they will be summoned ".

He also revealed the goalkeeper rotation: "Unless anything occurs in tomorrow's practice, Alex Dominguez will play; he is working very hard, and the position of the goal is hard. All those called will have the opportunity to play".
