The UD Las Palmas players quickly understood the defensive suggestion made by CD Teruel, a squad that described other Second Division League adversaries of the yellow squad. Later, García Pimienta had to relieve Sandro, who had requested the changeover owing to physical issues. It was worrying news, especially because the post had denied a shot by Lemos and the goalkeeper Cebolllada had also saved another effort by Moleiro during a period of the game in which Las Palmas was aiming to secure the victory.

Alvaro Lemos missed a chance to score 0-2 in the dying minutes after failing to direct his shot at the home goalie.
