Cristian Herrera was introduced this morning as the new player of UD Las Palmas, after the training session held at the Ciudad Deportiva. The Gran Canarian striker returns home to be part of the sports project for the 2023-24 season, which UD will face in LALIGA EA SPORTS.

Luis Helguera, the sports director of the club, mentioned in the press conference, "We are very happy with his arrival. He is a player from our academy who returns after having a good season. He has always had a knack for scoring and is a versatile player."

On his part, Cristian began his appearance by stating, "I'm very happy to return. I have nothing but words of gratitude. After this month-long break, it's always a bit challenging to get back into training, but we are getting into shape and adapting."

"Physically, I'm in one of the best moments of my career. I'm here to give everything for the team," said the Gran Canarian, who added, "I like all three attacking positions, and I adapt quite well."

Herrera mentioned that his sporting journey "has helped me grow as a person and as a footballer. I have matured."

Regarding his arrival at UD Las Palmas, he said, "I had more offers, but my main option was always to come to Las Palmas. I couldn't be happier."

Cristian Herrera concluded his presentation by stating, "Like any child born and raised here, UD Las Palmas is the reference point. I'm fulfilling a childhood dream. This is the reward for my family's tremendous sacrifice."
