The UD Las Palmas Football Stage, which will take place at the Barranco Seco Sports City from July 3rd to 14th, is repeating this summer with the goal of enhancing its players' performance in the sport of football through a training program that complements their existing training. Limited spots are available, and restrictions based on position will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, specific classes will be offered for goalkeeper training.

The main objective of the training is to improve technical and tactical skills such as ball control, dribbling, agility, feints, strikes, shooting, etc. in order to increase creative decision-making opportunities. Students will also learn collective technique concepts and tactical movements during gameplay and automate individual technical elements to improve their game vision, quick thinking, and decision-making skills.

Training sessions will take place from 8:15am to 1:30pm and will include specialized football training, anthropometric assessment reports, individual technical assessment reports, real-time video analysis, a healthy breakfast, specific training talks, and two official UDLP training kits. This year, a new feature is included in the training program - daily language sessions, where students can learn the specific football terms and jargon, allowing for an integral sports education with a professional perspective.

The technical staff selected to conduct the UD Las Palmas Stage consists of:

Paquito Ortiz, former player and coach of UD Las Palmas, Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Sport, and Master in Sports Nutrition, currently responsible for Innovation and Projects at the UD Las Palmas Foundation. In the stage, he will be in charge of the training area, teaching classes on nutrition and good habits, among other beneficial aspects for the future football player.

Santi Lemus, national coach, former coordinator of the UD Las Palmas School in Tenerife, former coach, and director at UD Granadilla Tenerife, trained in different countries such as Spain, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands. In the stage, he will be in charge of Methodology and Development.

Daniel Sánchez, physical trainer and national football coach. He has previously worked at UD Las Palmas and currently works as a physical trainer at UD Santa Brígida.

Héctor Dumpiérrez, national football coach, expert in big data applied to football. He is currently a tactical analyst at UD Villa de Santa Brígida, an expert in Big Data.
