UD Las Palmas only lacked a goal against Burgos (0-0)

In the first stage of the match, Las Palmas enjoyed possession close to 80%, with abundant passes, patience, and searching for angles to reach the area. Some of these plays managed to connect in the area, although not with the finish expected by the yellow attackers.

Las Palmas managed to create up to four clear chances between the 25th and 30th minutes, with a shot from Manu Fuster hitting the post, a powerful strike from Ale García repelled by goalkeeper Cantero, and a double opportunity from Jesé and Sergio Barcia that Burgos' goalkeeper managed to thwart with good reflexes. Burgos also pushed forward in the second half, with a great opportunity that David González attempted with a shot near the Canary Islands' goal. It was the most unsettling moment for Horkas all afternoon.

Las Palmas, which ended with 66% possession and 16 shots on the opponent's goal, kept trying until the last play, with a shot from Japanese player Taisei Miyashiro aiming for the top corner but once again stopped by Cantero.
