Rocco Maiorino (born 3rd March 1982, Salerno, Italy) today handed in his notice as sports director of UD Las Palmas. Maiorino arrived at the club at the end of March last year and ran the club’s department for sporting matters. His contract with UD Las Palmas was due to run until the end of this season. His resignation, in a letter to president Miguel Ángel Ramírez, has been accepted by the board of directors in a hastily-arranged meeting.
