Paco Herrera: “There are details that make victory tomorrow very important”

Paco Herrera is aware of the importance of victory tomorrow against Extremadura, and explained that as he makes preparations for the match “we don’t know what may happen because they have had a change in manager, but we know how we want to play and that is the most important thing”.

“I would be worried about our scoring possibilities if we weren’t creating chances, but every week we have been creating clear goal-scoring chances and I am concerned that we are not converting them”, he stated in response to the lack of goals being scored by his side.  

Nauzet Pérez has been left out of the squad for this match, and Herrera explained “he is suffering from flu, and we have waited until the last moment but he hasn’t made it”, while the other new face back in the squad is Maikel Mesa, his manager saying “he will be an important player for us. All the players want to play, and he had been carrying a niggling injury for a while now, that had knocked him off his game. He is fine now”.
