Paco Herrera analyzed everything that went on during tonight’s clash between his team and Málaga, saying “both teams have worked their socks off. In the second half I noticed how tired some of the Málaga players looked, and I thought we could make the most of it, but it wasn’t to be”.

Deivid was the replacement he used following injury to Timor, but was sent off himself after just 18 minutes on the pitch, leading Herrera to say “neither his intention or the position of his leg were worthy of a red card”.

“I remain positive and I am convinced the players will turn the situation around” he stated. The trainer saw improvement in his side, saying, “we just need a victory. I encourage the players to believe in themselves”, he concluded in the press room at La Rosaleda.
