Paco Herrera assessed his side's draw this evening against Rayo Majadahonda and was pleased with improvements in defence, saying "we didn't let them have any goal-scoring chances", adding "we have corrected a number of things and the team has grown because of it".
"I hope this will be the turning point, because I was pleased with certain things tonight" stated the yellows' manager. Herrera was absolutely clear the tonight's point "is a point gained because I will make it count. The team looked better and I want to show this improvement next Saturday".
Gaby Peñalba played the full 90 minutes after being eased back into the side, and his manager praised the Argentine midfielder for his performance tonight and for his "hierarchy. He had a calming influence, and we needed that". The manager said he was happy with Eric Curbelo's debut, and with the effort he put in, saying "he has shown he deserves to be in the first team squad".
