Pepe Mel: "The team believe in the way they are playing"

Pepe Mel assessed his side's important victory today at the Ángel Carro, stating "hard work brings results. We are a young team but we are improving because we believe in the way we are playing".

"Before now we would see just one player in the area waiting to shoot, but now there are maybe four or five yellow shirts in shooting positions", adding "this is the ambition we are looking for". Mel repeated that the club's objective remains the same, namely "taking it game by game. Now we need to concentrate on our next opponent".

Mel said "I am happy with the squad I have. When we get our missing players back we will be better. Competition for places in a team is good". Pepe Mel explained that for next match he will be without Galarreta, and also without Josep "who has been called up to the Spanish under-21 side as you all know".
