Las Palmas took down Ponferradina with goals in the second half (2-0),

Another win, three more points. UD Las Palmas successfully dealt with the Ponferradina's visit to the Gran Canaria Stadium. Sandro scored a goal and Berciandefender Paris Adot unintentionally scored an own goal in the second half, sealing a 2-0 win in a match attended by 20,474 spectators on Sunday.
The match started with uncertainty. Despite Las Palmas taking control from the initial whistle, it was Ponferradinawho had an excellent opportunity that was thwarted by Álvaro Valles in the 8th minute. The La Rinconadagoalkeeper stopped a low shot from José Naranjo, who had managed to break through the last local defensive line. It was a close call.
Las Palmas enjoyed a better chance to score just three minutes later. Loren was fouled by defender Amo in the area. And it was the bench players who this time scored the goals for the victory. In the 75th minute, Sandro placed the ball in Amir's nets after a cross from Marvin Park. And three minutes later, after a lateral foul given by Sandro himself, the ball hit Paris Adot's back and headed back towards the visiting team's goal.
After their 18th clean sheet, Las Palmas celebrated another another victory with their supporters.
