Garcia Pimienta: "A team needs to become accustomed to winning if they want to accomplish ambitious goals."

At a press conference, the coach of UD Las Palmas said, "It has been a wonderful week of preparation and we confront the game with all the promises.

Prior to playing Burgos CF, Garcia Pimienta attended a press conference at the El Plantio Municipal Stadium. Regarding what he anticipates from the match, he said: "He is a really tough opponent; they are ruthless and don't play games. They have a very specific plan and stick to it, and they have used their ability to defeat us in both games, but we want to win".

The coach stated, "The two games I have played against Burgos have been in Gran Canaria, they are extremely clear about what they have to do and that is how they have been doing very good. As a result, they have been doing very well. We should be more concentrated to try to get the goal because we were close to winning the last game at home", he continued.

About the  opponent: "I concentrate on the game taking place on what interests us because they are coming off a poor result and they will want to earn the three points. Burgos used the same strategy against Las Palmas in both games; whether we have the ball or not, we must win".

"Kirian is doing really well. He participates in all team activities and gets fitter every day. It can be challenging to fit in with the group, but we're not in a rush, and we won't take any chances, so hopefully he'll be back in shape soon". He alluded to Kirian's situation.

"There is a long way to go, what occurs on Monday is not final," Garcia Pimienta said in his closing remarks. "When there are four or five days remaining, we will see where we have landed".
