Fund- raising calendar 2017, “Together we are a team”
Emotional and touching was the presentation of the “fund- raising calendar 2017” that took place this afternoon in the main box of the Gran Canaria stadium, n annual collaboration of the UD Las Palmas and the Multiple Sclerosis Local Association (APEM).
In the main box, 5th floor of the Gran Canaria stadium, more than 400 people got reunited to introduce the “fund- raising calendar 2017”. This annual tradition is a collaboration of the professional players of the UD Las Palmas, the technical staff and the APEM.
Bearing the slogan “Together we are a team” and print run of 13.000 copies, the “fund- raising calendar 2017” will cost 5 euros for the benefit of 13 non-profit organizations.
Lili Quintana, President of the APEM highlighted “the willingness of the UD Las Palma and its complete staff.” She also said, “ This calendar is full of hope, and I thank the President for his solidarity, and the contributions of UD Las Palmas, Grupo Ralons a, MarMotor.”
Juan Carlos Valerón, Captain of Honor of the UD Las Palmas and godfather of this year’s edition of the “fund- raising calendar 2017” was “very happy to be part of the project” and thanked APEM “for the invitation to participate one more year in this solidarity action”.
The President of the UD Las Palmas, Miguel Angel Ramírez congratulated the organizations “that every day help these children and their families”. Ramírez was applauded after he announced the sponsorship from UD Las Palmas and Ralons Group to support print costs.
The event was conducted by Dani Calero and counted with the presence of the board members of the UD Las Palmas, member of the 13 non- profit organizations and the I+I team, starring the central poster.
The non- profit calendar was printed by Litografía González and can currently be bought in Base Sport shops, DISA gas stations, and in the Gran Canaria stadium on November 28th on the occasion of the match against Athletic Club.
