Felipe Benítez: “It’s a valuable point but it feels like two points dropped”
Felipe Benítez, Las Palmas’ assistant manager, stood in for Manolo Jiménez at the after-match press conference, and said “we have earned a valuable point tonight. It feels like two points dropped, but other top sides have been defeated here”.
Felipe Benítez spoke to the media following his side’s draw at the Martínez Valero stadium and said “we played a serious match, but we were unlucky in front of goal”.
“Elche have made their stadium a fortress, and it has been a really tough game. In the second half they looked to create space but we were able to keep them at bay”, said Manolo Jiménez’s assistant, while he stressed “if the team carries on working like this the results will come”, thus concluding the press conference.
