UD Las Palmas will take part in the WTM London 2022

The yellow entity will be present at the forthcoming World Travel Market (WTM) tourism fair, which will be held in London next week on November 7, 8, and 9.

In an attempt to encourage as many visitors to plan their journeys to the island as distinctive and unforgettable holidays as possible, UD Las Palmas will be present at the Gran Canaria Tourism booth.

Gran Canaria can also boast of its representative football club and a stadium with the energy of a large, devoted fan base. This is seen in the capture numbers of the British market, which reached €800,000 in destination expenditure in 2021 and is expected to reach one million euros in 2022. In order to continue competing in the market with experiences and quality, the club has joined Gran Canaria's tourism offering. Gran Canaria is the ideal location to continue demonstrating to the British audience that we want to remain their top destination because of all the contributing aspects. 

To do this, the entity works on the development of tourism packages to provide tour operators and agencies specializing in experiences that include transportation to the stadium, tickets to the match, official clothing, guided tours, VIP experiences in designated zones, etc.

Thus, UD Las Palmas want to bet on its internationalization. Their involvement aims to forge future relationships with other teams in the UK that may view the Sports City of Barranco Seco as a more than appealing facility to conduct preseason, grassroots football experiences, etc., in addition to campaigning for the entry of additional visitors.

The World Travel Market will be hosted at the ExCeL Exhibition Center in London on November 7 and 9.
