UD Las Palmas sign new goalkeeper Nauzet Pérez

UD Las Palmas have reached a deal with Nauzet Pérez and have signed the Gran Canarian goalkeeper for one season with an option for a second. The most recent team he played for was Cyprus outfit APOEL Nicosia.

Nauzet Pérez (born Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1st March 1985) will be one of the team’s goalkeepers for next season. Pérez, who had already turned out for the yellows in different categories between 2002 and 2005, comes to the island having played for APOEL Nicosia, a team from the Cyprus league who played in the group phase of this year’s Champions League.

The deal will see him play for one season with an option for another. Following his departure from UD Las Palmas en 2005, Nauzet Pérez has played in goal for a number of teams including Jaén, Mallorca, Halmstad (in Sweden), Mirandés, Sabadell and Osasuna.

Nauzet Pérez will undergo a medical at the Hospital Perpetuo Socorro at 8.30 and will be unveiled at 12.30 in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
