Pekhart signs for Legia Warsaw

Czech striker Tomáš Pekhart has moved to Legia Warsaw after terms were agreed between UD Las Palmas and the Polish club.

Tomáš Pekhart (born 26-05-1989, Czech Republic) is Legia Warsaw’s latest signing, following the agreement reached by all parties. Pekhart came to UD Las Palmas in the 2018-2019 season following a stint at Hapoel Beer Sheva in Israel, at the special request of former manager Manolo Jiménez, who knew him from his time as manager at AEK Athens. In his first year at Las Palmas Pekhart played 170 minutes and scored one goal, against Cádiz in Paco Herrera’s debut as manager at the Ramón de Carranza stadium (4-1).

This season he has played a total of 821 minutes, featuring in 17 league encounters, scoring 5 goals against Albacete Balompié, Lugo, Deportivo de La Coruña (2) and Alcorcón.
