UD Las Palmas have decided to dispense with the services of Paco Herrera as first team manager. The Catalonian trainer came back to the club last November to replace Manolo Jiménez in the 14th week of the season. Herrera had started the season as manager of Greek outfit Aris de Salónica.

After fourteen matches in charge of the club, Herrera leaves the side in 11th spot in the league, nine points off the playoff places, having won sixteen league points (three wins, seven draws and four defeats), including the three points awarded to his side following the demise of Reus who were eliminated from the league.

The administration board at UD Las Palmas recognise the commitment and respect that Paco Herrera has always held for the club, and wish him the greatest success both personally and professionally, aware that he has played an important part in the club’s history.
