Alberto De la Bella is UD Las Palmas’ latest signing

UD Las Palmas have signed up Alberto De la Bella, a left-sided player from Real Sociedad. The clubs have reached a two-year deal with an option for a third.

Alberto De la Bella (born 2nd December 1985, in Santa Coloma de Gramanet) is a 32-year-old winger who comes to UD Las Palmas from Real Sociedad. He began his footballing career in the youth set up at Gramenet. At under-18 level he signed for RCD Espanyol. He later moved on to the second string teams at Villarreal y Sevilla. In the 2009/2010 season he signed for Real Sociedad, for whom he played over 150 first division matches. 

He made his debut in the Spanish first division in a match that Real Sociedad defeated Villarreal in the Estadio Anoeta, on 30th August 2010. He was loaned out to Olympiacos in Greece, and helped them to the league title in the 2016/2017 season. 

De la Bella lands tonight in Gran Canaria at around 00:35 from Bilbao. The player is due to undergo a medical tomorrow morning at 08.30 at the Hospital Perpetuo Socorro, and will be unveiled to the press at 12:00 in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
