Luis García appeared at the end of the match between UD Las Palmas and Albacete Balompié, at the Carlos Belmonte. The yellow coach stated that "We had a great first half, but we need to be more ruthless to score the second goal to have more margin, especially away from home where everyone puts pressure."

These were some of his statements:

"It is difficult to make an assessment now because it is a hard blow. The first half was very controlled, with very clear situations to make it 0-2, which would have created more distance."

"In the second half, we didn’t start well, we didn’t play a good second half. It was hard for us to adjust, win duels, and defend the area. And when we get into a chaotic game, we are not a good team. We need control, to try to stay organized so that we are not punished for turnovers."

"We gave Albacete fuel to come at us, for their crosses, and for the game to go where they wanted. On the second goal, we didn’t defend the ball well, and they managed to turn the game around."

"We are very angry. But this continues, and we have to keep improving. We wanted the three points, but it was also important to get one point. But in the end, we leave without any points."

"In the penalty, there is a very clear push (on Mika Mármol). The ball goes to that area, and there is another push that doesn’t allow Barcia to defend. The handball is clear, but the push could have also been sanctioned."

"We leave upset. We weren’t able to win because in the final stretch we weren’t better. We have to move forward and recover from this blow."
