Luis García: "I value the point a lot"

Luis García indicated that "It was not easy to play or find advantages. I think in the last quarter of an hour we did find a bit more calm with the ball as the opponent was already tired. We would have had situations to win the match."

Luis García addressed the media who gathered in the press room of the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes after the draw against Granada CF. The coach began the press conference by stating, "It was tough for both teams. It was a very evenly matched game. We lacked sharpness with the ball. In the second half, we were better."

Some of his statements:

"Obviously, I always want to win, but the opponent plays too. It was a very competitive match, very difficult to play. I value it a lot because it's another clean sheet, the team keeps growing. We are in a very tough competition."

"We had a couple of chances like Ale García's header and a set piece from Juanma, and they also had two chances. It was a very even match, with a lot of duels. We need to understand the moments of the game."

"With Herzog, we were looking for those set-piece situations that he could contribute to both defensively and offensively. He is working very well every day. Álex had a knock on his ankle, and we didn’t want to push him too much."

"We still don’t know anything about Recoba; we hope to get good news. The boy is very affected. We’ll wait; we need to be cautious."
