Luis García highlighted in the post-match interview against Córdoba CF that today "everything went well. I think the players did an extraordinary job, and I leave with the satisfaction and pride that football has rewarded all the work they have done."

These were some of his statements:

"We knew we were coming into a match against a very difficult opponent to neutralize. The important thing is that we adapted to the game in the best way possible; it is a very well-deserved victory for the players and the people who supported us."

"Enrique Clemente's goal has a lot of merit, and I am very happy for him because he deserved it. He made a great run."

"Lukovic has worked very well in the short time he has been with us. Let’s not forget that he is 19 years old, has just arrived, and is still adapting. We are very happy with what he did today."

"This is about improving, and we have to keep doing so; football moves very fast. It was a victory of great merit against a very good team. The players gave their all, and those who came off the bench contributed a lot."

"I don’t need to introduce Viera; he is showing better physical stats every time. He is a different kind of player, with a magical vision of the game."
