García Pimienta's team will head to Cádiz this weekend, aiming to secure their place in the Primera División next week.

Las Palmas approached the match ambitiously from the first minute. The yellow team’s game plan quickly manifested on the field, with García Pimienta’s players trying to control the match through ball possession.

Their initial good form could have resulted in early goals. At 8 minutes, Kirian's volley from the edge of the area narrowly missed the post. Three minutes later, Munir turned and shot with his left foot, forcing a crucial save from Betis' goalkeeper Rui Silva.

However, it was Betis who opened the scoring on their second approach. An Abde cross deflected off Mika Mármol’s leg into his own net.

Las Palmas quickly responded to this misfortune. They fought back and after a set-piece, Álex Suárez found a ball from Moleiro in the box and scored, beating Rui Silva’s initial save.

The crowd’s chant of "yes, we can" echoed in response to the team's reaction. More dangerous balls reached the visitor’s area, but Moleiro and Park’s shots were again saved by Rui Silva.

The first half ended with a 1-1 draw, with Las Palmas showing better football than the score suggested. Betis was forced to make two substitutions due to injuries to Guido Rodríguez and Isco Alarcón.

Three minutes into the second half, Las Palmas found themselves behind again. Ayoze Pérez scored with a soft shot that surprised Valles, putting Betis 2-1 up.

Las Palmas had to rally once more, with constant initiatives. Eventually, a through ball from Loiodice found Moleiro, who slotted it past Rui Silva to make it 2-2, reigniting the crowd’s support.

Las Palmas didn’t settle and risked everything for a third goal. Their ambition also allowed Betis some space, but Valles saved the best visitor’s chance from Abde.

In the final moments, Fran Pejiño hit the post, missing the golden opportunity to clinch victory.
