Horkaš: "I am delighted that we are the team with the fewest goals conceded, but we still have a lot ahead and we hope to continue like this."

Dinko Horkaš appeared at a press conference on Wednesday morning where he stated, "All the matches in the Second Division are difficult. We have plenty of time to prepare well and face Éibar's visit with confidence."

Dinko Horkaš appeared this morning at the press conference ahead of Sunday's match against SD Eibar, where he stated, “We defend very well with the ball. Teams don’t have many opportunities against us. Against Cádiz was the only match where I had a lot of work. When you have the ball, you are well-positioned because you can press very quickly after losing it, that is key.”

These were some of his statements:

“I wish Jeremía Recoba a very speedy recovery and hope he comes back stronger than ever.”

“For me, it’s better not to concede goals, but we need to score more. We defend very well, and I think we should continue like this.”

“Yepes is a coach who insists a lot, who pushes every day to work more and more. He is different from other goalkeeper coaches I’ve had in my career in the offensive game. He helps us a lot with his experience; we are all better after training with Yepes.”

“The life of a goalkeeper is like this: If you don’t do anything the whole match, no one says anything. And if they shoot once and score, you’re at fault. The way we play in Las Palmas, I help a lot in the offensive phase. I also want to help the defense in building from the back. When we lose possession, I want to press the team. This way, I stay active throughout the matches.”

“We’ve played some home matches where we didn’t start with much intensity, without finding the edge to win. But we are changing that. In the last match against Cádiz, we played very well; we need to always play like that.”
