García Pimienta: We face a tough opponent, but we can hurt them by being ourselves
The coach of UD Las Palmas spoke to the press before their away game in Granada.
García Pimienta said in his press conference that "we have good away form because we've earned it ourselves, and we'll try to get a positive result. In the Second division, nobody gives anything away."
Talking about the opponent, he said that "they're one of the strong teams in the league with a similar objective to ours, and they've built a good squad". He also made it clear that "whatever happens on Saturday, it won't be definitive".
Some of his other comments included:
"There will be a large number of away fans, and that will give us the necessary strength to go for the win from the first moment."
"Oviedo had one clear chance on goal, so we'll try to be even more solid defensively. But to only concede one chance to a team like Oviedo with very attacking players in a 95-minute game is something to be proud of. We have to believe in how well we're doing defensively."
"Whatever happens, it's not a final because there are still many points at stake. We'll compete with our usual personality and identity, and if we do things well, we'll be close to victory."
"The greatness of this team is that we always go out to win every game."
