Fidel answered questions put to him during his presentation today, and said “there were still three years left on my contract with Almería, but Las Palmas is a team that aims high, and I couldn’t say no".
"I am a skilfull winger, I look to help out the forwards. This squad is really talented, I know the Canary playing style and I can adapt perfectly to it. The way the team plays will depend on the trainer" the new winger explained, referring to Las Palmas’ playing style.
Fidel was keen to thank all those who made his signing possible, and made his intentions clear referring to his new club, saying "I am really excited about helping a historical team like Las Palmas to get back to the First Division, it’s where we deserve to be", ending his appearance in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
