On Kirian Rodriguez's return day, UD Las Palmas drew at La Romareda (1-1)

Garcia Pimienta's players dominated for much of the game before falling behind to a Bebe goal in the second half. Viera equalised with a penalty awarded after consulting with the VAR, who confirmed a clear foul by defender Nieto. Despite Las Palmas' efforts until the 99th minute, they were unable to find the second goal they sought, having run out of steam

The Yellow team arrived at La Romareda with an ambitious offensive proposal, knowing that a win could put them back in a position for direct promotion. In the first few minutes, Jonathan Viera and Sandro had two excellent chances, but their shots missed the target narrowly.

After the first 4 minutes, the goalkeepers also appeared in the Zaragoza night. The first chance was for Cristian Alvarez, who saved an excellent shot from Pejino. Then, Alvaro Valles repelled the first local shot from Bebe. During this play, Simeone was injured and had to be replaced.

As the minutes passed, the ball was increasingly controlled by the Gran Canaria team. They had to wait until the half-hour mark to seriously threaten Alvarez again, with Loiodice shooting from the front. The Garcia Pimienta team's attempts did not cease, although Zaragoza also played their options through Bebe's initiatives or set pieces. However, Sandro Ramirez had the best chance of the first half. He found a shooting position in a corner of the area, executed a magnificent shot, and was denied by a great save from Alvarez.

However, Zaragoza scored the much-awaited opening goal after Las Palmas made the first attempts of the second half. Bebe scored on a local counterattack in the 57th minute, beating Alvaro Valles after Lemos slipped.

Garcia Pimienta made substitutions to seek solutions and freshness. One of the most emotional moments of the season occurred when Kirian Rodriguez started to add minutes in the championship.

Finally, in the 82nd minute, Viera equalized from a penalty awarded after the ball hit Nieto's arm in the area while he was disputing it with Moleiro. The Gran Canaria captain scored to make it 1-1, and the game rushed downhill in search of the visitors' victory.

Zaragoza lost their starting goalkeeper, Cristian Alvarez, to a red card and replaced him with field player Gabi Fuentes. But despite Las Palmas' energy directed towards the Zaragoza goal, they could not score a second goal.
