Prior to Monday's match against Burgos CF, Alex Suárez spoke at a press conference. The Canarian player stated that it will be "a difficult game, because they are very strong at home". Furthermore, he stated that the people of Burgos play a different game than them: "They have a very different game than ours, and with our virtues we have to hurt them."
Personally, he stated that he is at ease in the winger position and is "grateful for the trust" that the coach has placed in him this season. "It's the best season of my professional career; all I need now is a promotion to make it the best season of my life," he said.
