Aarón Escandell, the new signing for UD Las Palmas' goalkeeping position.

Goalkeeper Aarón Escandell joins UD Las Palmas for the next two seasons. He arrives at the yellow club following a transfer agreement with FC Cartagena.

Aarón Escandell Banacloche (27/09/1995, Valencia) comes to UD Las Palmas to strengthen the yellow team's goal for the next two seasons, following the transfer agreement reached with his previous club, FC Cartagena.

After playing in the Valencia CF youth stage and later at Atlético Malagueño, Aarón joined Granada CF in 2017, where he became the starting goalkeeper for Recreativo Granada, the Nazarí reserve team. In the 2018/19 season, he made the leap to the first team.

During his time in Granada CF's goal, Escandell played 27 matches in the league, Copa del Rey, and one appearance in the Europa League.

In the 2022/23 season, he joined FC Cartagena, where he accumulated over 3,000 minutes guarding the net in the 36 matches he played with the "albinegros."
