García Pimienta: "If Las Palmas achieves permanence, it will be on their own merits."

The yellow coach appeared before the match against Real Betis and stated, "I still believe that by playing this way, with much more concentration and demand, we will be close to winning."

García Pimienta described Real Betis Balompié as a team with "players even for the national team, with innate talent up front, with a lot of level." "I stick with the game we played there even though we lost 1-0. They scored, but they have a lot of talent and associative capacity," he added.

Here are some of his statements:

"They are coming now in a great moment of play and results. They want to get into Europe, that's their goal, and therefore, they will be a dangerous rival. We, as always, need to be brave, competitive with the ball, and we must try to create more chances as well as take advantage of the ones we have."

"Except for the day against Atlético de Madrid where there was no contest, the rest of the games were competitive. We face rivals who have more experience than us, more budget, and more everything. And when we are at 100% and the rivals are too, then we are on the edge."

"It is true that we have 26 players in the first team squad. We haven't had many injuries, that's also true. In all teams, there is a starting eleven, plus six, seven, or eight players who come in, all the line-ups I have made convinced that they were the best for the team."

"We took a very important competitive step the other day, against the opponent we had. Mallorca gave us few chances and in individual duels we were very good, we lacked generating more goal chances. The balance was short to get something positive, we had the anger of having given everything and not having achieved what we wanted."

"Tomorrow we have to play a game for ourselves, for the fans, and for everyone to show that this bad streak of eight games losing is something that can happen in football. The fans are always with us, there are always yellow shirts away from home. We are going to get the victory to make them proud."
