Rocco Maiorino takes over as new sports director of UD Las Palmas
Rocco Maiorino is the new sports director at UD Las Palmas. The former sports director of AC Milan has signed for the yellows until the summer of 2020. He will be unveiled tomorrow at 12.00, in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
Unión Deportiva Las Palmas have a new sports director. Rocco Maiorino (born 3rd March 1982, in Salerno, Italy) has been chosen by the yellows to manage sporting matters until the summer of 2020. Under him will be technical secretary Toni Otero, and youth set-up manager and scout Manuel Rodríguez "Tonono".
Maiorino was at AC Milán for nearly thirteen years. For the first seven of these at the Italian club he worked with the youth team. He made the jump in 2012 to assistant scout to Ariedo Braida. Two years later he was named sports director for the historic Italian side.
Rocco Maiorino will be unveiled tomorrow at 12.00 in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
