Mel said that tomorrow's opponents, CD Numancia, have a very similar playing style to the yellows, although "we know they play and we will try to hurt them", adding "we are not just similar to them in how we play, but also in our league position". 

"The squad I have chosen today is balanced and all areas are covered" he stated, while he recognised that it is sometimes unfair for a particular player to be left out. "There are players who are training hard throughout the week such as Álex Suárez. His chance will definitely come". 

Mel spoke of the ambition his team should have, saying "if we are able to string three wins together we will be right in the mix. When we are in a calm frame of mind things go much better". He ended by talking about the group of players he is managing, saying "we are a tight-knit group and that makes us strong. Togetherness is everything in this sport".
