Pepe Mel was critical of today’s referee, saying "I don’t know if we are the most hard done-by team in the league, but we have had thirteen penalties awarded against us, ten of which were the same as the one we were not awarded today".
"I am not looking for excuses in the referees, as if we haven’t won today it is because we just haven’t managed to win", he stated. He continued by saying "Galarreta has got injured again, while we took Fede off as a precaution because he had cramp", while highlighting the efforts of Tana this afternoon, saying "he needs to give us so many things as a footballer".
Mel finished by saying he was positive about having some of his players back, in particular Aridai. "He worked really hard all the time he was on the pitch. He is going to be a great help to the team".
