Jiménez says he has a hard time when he has to leave out players for matches. For tomorrow’s clash he has all his squad available. "Christian Rivera is the latest one to come back into contention", he admitted. As for Argentine striker Sergio Araujo being called up, he said "I want to play him, but we are not going to rush his return. He was our most in form player in pre-season and he got injured. When we have finished our last training session I will talk to him and we’ll make a decision", he underlined.

Regarding tomorrow’s game, Manolo Jiménez compares Alcorcón with Málaga. "They are very similar teams, Alcorcón make the most of their goals and are good on the break. They are tough rivals and will make life very difficult for us. They have only conceded two goals so far this season". The manager once again called upon the support of the fans. "We beat Málaga thanks to our fans cheering us on and tomorrow I expect the same support".

"We mustn’t get over-anxious", he said referring the goal drought of Rubén Castro over the last few matches. "He is a forward who gets the opposition nervous just be being out there on the pitch and rival defences are always looking to keep him out of the match", he concluded.
