"We are taking 19 players just to make sure" said Manolo Márquez, as in previous matches there have been last minute hitches. He added "the 19 who are travelling are all fit to play". With reference to this Wednesday’s clash against Sevilla FC, the manager said " they are a great team, they are playing Champions League football, and at home they are a tough opponent". He also alluded the his team’s intentions of victory. " we are going after the three points". 

The highlight of the week is whether Vitolo will be playing or not, and the trainer recognises that "Vitolo has a lot of experience and can handle being booed"; he didn’t let on whether he would be playing, but also hinted that " Vitolo needs to get match practise". 

Following the unfortunate injury to Alen Halilovic, he is quite optimistic: "luckily Halilovic’s injury is only short term". In terms of his defensive line-up and following Dani Castellano dropping out, he explained his various options, "to replace Dani we have a number of options, although the most straightforward change would be Borja Herrera", despite his inexperience of top flight football: "Borja is performing really well, I feel that he is quite capable of slotting in". 

The manager ended by making reference to Alfredo Ortuño and his presence in training sessions, making it clear that "he will be training with us just like any other player until the winter transfer window opens".
